  I walked in at 9:00 on a Saturday night, the place was a little busy. I sat at the bar, the bartender handed me a drink menu, but there was a cold breeze at the bar so I moved to one of the 4 open tables. I knew what I wanted to drink so I tried to get the attention of the wait staff. I was hoping to order a beer and get a dinner menu. Every time I looked at the servers, they'd look away and ignore me. This happened 2x for each. Four times. No "your server will be with you" or "be right with you." They noticed I was looking at them, they'd make eye contact for a second, and looked away or down. Seeing there was nobody going to greet me - or even look at me - at the table, I moved back to the bar hoping to be acknowledged. The bartender that gave me the beer menu was gone and there was a new bartender. I said "hi" and she walked away to help someone down at the end of the bar. Someone else walked in the front door and sat next to me. The bartender returned and handed him a menu and asked him what he wanted to drink. I said "that does it. I'm being deliberately ignored" and walked out. After all that, I still have never seen their food menu. Unsure if I'll return. A very bad first impression. It shouldn't be a requirement that customers be rude for staff to acknowledge their presence.
